    This the very best sauce I have ever had. I never want to be without it for seasoning my food. The name Pickapeppa might lead some people to think it is a hot sauce. It is not hot at all, but a delicious flavor.

    This sauce is awesome! My mother used it for a wide variety of recipes while I was growing up. My favorite appetizer was one my mother used to make. She would take a block of cream cheese and put it on a plate and cover it with Pickapeppa sauce and serve it with ritz crackers. The combination of the sauce with the cream cheese on the cracker was a happy mix of awesome flavors that I couldn’t get enough of!

    I stumbled upon this sauce in a dimly lit Hard Rock Café in Los Angeles in 1987. I had no idea what it was but I put it on my steak. WOW! I have not put anything on my steaks ever since!!

    I was introduced to this awesome sauce at the Hungry Horse Restaurant inside the Grand Cayman Airport. It’s part of my staple during every visit (or departure): a Cuban Panini smothered in the basic sauce. I use it at home on EVERYTHING. It’s taste will go with anything!

    This sauce is wonderful, it has such a beautiful roundness of flavor. I added it to my Cannelini Bean Stew with Thyme, Garlic and white wine…it added such a wonderful depth to the stew….

    Here’s the recipe if anybody wants to try it:

    Cannellini Bean Soup

    2 cans of Trader Joe’s organic cannelini beans
    1 can organic crushed tomatoes
    2-3 cups chopped Tuscan kale
    2 fingerling potatoes cut into coins
    1cup each diced celery, carrots and onion
    Extra virgin olive oil
    2 Tablespoons Better Than Bouillon vegetable bouillon
    1 teaspoon each of thyme, celery salt and Himalayan pink salt
    1/2 teaspoon each red and black pepper
    1-2 cloves minced garlic
    1 bay leaf
    1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
    2 Tablespoons Pickapeppa sauce
    1/4 cup spicy tomato paste
    3 cups water
    1 cup pinot grigio wine

    Saute carrots, celery onion in olive oil until onions are translucent
    Add wine, seasonings, water, tomato paste, Pickapeppa sauce, potatoes and canned goods
    Cook on medium low heat until carrots and potatoes are fork tender then add kale and cook until wilted

    Adjust seasonings to taste.

    Serve with toasted crusty bread drizzled with olive oil sprinkled with Italian seasoning

    holy smokes! I can clear out all the other bottles of sauce, this stuff is for real! my friend just cooked me a steak with it, and I HAVE to have a bottle. RIGHT AWAY! I will find it tonight.! in the meantime, I have a case on the way. thank you very much, Dano

    I smother this sauce all over Annie’s standard purple box white cheese Mac and cheese. You will love it, your kids will love it. Your Mac and cheese will never be the same again.

    If they had 10 stars That’s what I would rate this sauce. Discovered it in jamaica over 50 years ago and been usng it almost every day. Have 11 bottles in my cabinet right now. Never want to be without it. Put it on anything and it makes it taste fantastic

    Can’t find it anywhere, looked at heb in leander texas, cedar park walmart, and can find it people look at me funny because they have never heard of it, they don’t know what 5 hey are missing, can anyone help me

    yep, pour it over a block of cream cheese, and spread on top of a Ritz cracker. Yum, and it looks like an elegant dessert! great for a snack.

    I stumbled across this at a store and picked it up. I used it in my stew chicken and it took it to another level. I am now out and wanted to find it locally but of course I have no idea where I bought it. Please help me find my pickapeppa sauce ! Was it Kroger, Ingles, Publix, Walmart, Target,Farmer’s Market? I know I shop too many places.

    I had to give up hot food for health reasons. Be warned most of the varients are hot and delicious. This standard has a little spice but adds a boatload of flavor. So good with cheesty stuff. The standard American way is with a block of cream cheese. Add it to cheese soup or mac n cheese. Drown your wings or burgers in this. So good.

    I’m 56 years old, and I remember Pickapeppa being on my grandparents’ table since I was a child. Later, my mother would use it as an appetizer on cream cheese at our Christmas Eve gatherings. I love Pickapeppa to this day!
